Welcome to the Camperdown Angling Club website.

Formed in the early 1920s, the Camperdown Angling club (CAC) is a family orientated organization situated on the southern shores of Lake Bullen Merri at Camperdown in the Western District of Victoria. Home is a magnificent clubhouse where monthly meetings are held on every 3rd Tuesday of the month commencing at 7-30pm. These facilities are available for hire. The lake is the home of trophy fish and holds Brown & Rainbow Trout to 5kg plus, Australian Bass to 3kg plus and the world recognized sporting fish, the mighty Chinook Salmon reaches 10kg in weight.

Camperdown crater lakes Bullen Merri and Purrumbete are the only Australian waters where anglers have the privilege to fish for these iconic salmon.
