Every year the Camperdown Angling Club hold one major event - the 'Camperdown Classic'. This event is sponsored by many national companies and local businesses.
The 2008 Camperdown Event has been and gone, with the event to be held once again in October 2009. To make an enquiry 'Drop Us A Line'.
The 2007 Camperdown Classic was very successful event, with many fish caught. Which was a stark contrast to the 2006 event were not a single fish was landed!!
As well as the major competition several other competitions and events are held by the club each year, these include.

- July 2008 (Fitzroy River)
- August 2008 (No Club Event planned as an InterClub Event has been arranged)
