closer to 2012 event
ALL COMPETITORS MUST HAVE CURRENT FISHING LICENCE
The organizers of the ANNUAL LAKE BULLEN MERRI CLASSIC encourage catch
and release to ensure our fishing future. Competitors are asked to release
all unwanted fish to the water as soon as possible to enhance each fish's
survival. To further reduce the fish kill competition mentality, each
competitor is asked to weigh only his/her best two fish per target species
per day.
THE LOCATION
LAKE BULLEN MERRI & LAKE PURRUMBETE, are
the nominated venues for this tournament.
All anglers must fish only within these waterways. Anglers found to be
fishing or are reported and are confirmed to be fishing outside the designated
waters, or if a fish is presented and is proven not to be from the designated
water, by MAFRI OR DPI arbitrators, that individual will face
disqualification without reimbursement of entry fee.
It is the responsibility of those competitors who fish the ANNUAL LAKE BULLEN
MERRI CLASSIC to weigh in prior to weigh deadline. Extension of weigh times
will not be entered into. Nor will be appropriate.
THE METHOD OF SCORING POINTS.
The process called the KAT 123 system is to be used where the size and species
of fish has a predetermined points value. The individual who has accumulated
the greater overall score during the designated tournament times will be
